So taking the next logical step and replacing their diesel powered forklift truck with a clean, quiet and zero emissions Li-ion battery powered Hyundai forklift truck is where NDLT Ltd were able to assist. As the local main dealer for Hyundai Material Handling, we can draw on the full portfolio of Hyundai products and the 2.5 ton B-EX model, with fully insulated and heated cab fitted the bill perfectly. To minimise disruption of the existing operating area, the 3 phase battery charging unit has been installed into a bespoke “car-port” manufactured in-house at NDLT Corby to protect truck and charger from the elements and facilitate outdoor charging. So a complete win – win solution for Whittlebury Hall & Spa taking their green credentials even further.
